Most African children only have access to stories written by non-African writers and Ducere Foundation is changing this as culturally authentic resources are essential to literacy development.
The Foundation is also providing greater access to tertiary education for Africans through its online, world class, career-ready Bachelor and MBA degrees.
In launching the new Foundation website, we bring our stories, their stories to the world which span 25 African countries.
The Foundation website features:
Personal experience of 24 African countries and their unique cultures and oral traditions
Reflections of student authors
Capturing the essence of the 60 Collections
Our Foundation Executive Director, Di Fleming AM acknowledges the 1000 student authors for their stories, Bridget Hoadley for her design and passion, Brigid James for her empathetic editing, Cheryl Mutabazi for her leadership and to our Founder Mat Jacobson for believing in the Foundation and investing in its pan-African legacy.
